On their debut album 'Wer beatet mehr?' (who can beat that) the combo 'Beatplanet' presents twelve really catchy songs. They are not afraid of hot topics ('The cosmonauts' love', 'Night shift'), they don't hold back with social critisism ('Laika - A life for progress'), they even offer practical life aid ('This love is not good for you','Men are there for love') and still remain danceable at the same time.

Connoisseurs of the Beat scene already compare them with the Beatles and the 'Star Club' sound and friends of the GDR legends Theo Schumann, Gerd Natschinski and Manfreg Krug also can breathe a sigh of relief - finally there are worthy inheritors of their music - anyway - 'Beat makes everybody equal!'
